Use Instagram for your Business!

Since Instagram is one of the most used social networks nowadays, lots of brands have registered in order to promote themselves. Because that’s basically how things work: if you want to promote your service or product, you’ve got to go where people are going. However, it’s not as easy as making and account and that’s it. You’ve got to do it right if you want followers, potential customers and activity in general.

The first and most important thing is the name you choose for your account. Obviously, if your brand or company has a name, the account name should be tha same. If you already have other social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr, you should always use the same names on every one. That will make it easier for people to find you. And if you want people to really remember the name, make sure it’s not too long. Another important thing is to think about how you’re going to post things on Instagram (account management), what pictures, how often, with what text, etc. It’s better if it’s all planned out instead of just making an account and filling it randomly with all sort of chaotic information. Also, once you’ve got some sort of idea of what you’re going to do, don’t forget about using hashtags (#). They’re extremely useful when it comes to promoting something. In fact, you don’t really have to use the popular ones everyone uses on their pictures; you can even make specific hashtags for your brand or account.

And last, but not least, it’s very important to know when you should post things on your profile. That would mostly depend on the country you’re targeting. For instance, Spain and New York don’t have the same time. If it’s more of an international product, then you might as well post at different times of the day.
